Working as part of a team, the postholder will have and will develop clinical pharmacy skills that will improve safety, efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of prescribing in primary care.
All activity will be agreed according to the Federation prescribing action plan and as part of the planning process with the relevant GP practice/s. Clinical patient facing activities will only be undertaken with the agreement of GPs in the practice.

The Business Support & Communications Officer will play a key role in providing high-quality business, governance, and communications support within the Northern GP Federation.
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the post holder will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of Federation activities, ensuring effective internal and external communication, robust governance support, and the successful organisation and delivery of Federation Meetings, events, and training sessions.
This is varied and fast-paced role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and proactive approach.
